Who we are and what we do

Beyond The Horizon is a Minecraft-project. We're working towards a whole new idea of roleplaying in the vast universe of Minecraft servers. With a gigantic world, several different factions, dynamic gameplay and much, much more we hope to appeal all of those who are ready to enter a so far unexplored realm of Minecraft.

But we are not just a single server.
We are a network of individual projects handpicked by our admins

We also got a modern roleplay under construction (more info about that later)

We have a survival-server and creative-server as well for those who'd
like to take a break from the huge task of Beyond The Horizion but still
want to enjoy the great community we're lucky to have.

We are currently recruiting anyone who is interested in helping us develop the project. It doesn't matter if you're an artist, a builder, a modder or just want to help by joining our community and providing moral support! However, to make it fair for everyone who joins us, we've made it a server policy not to pay anyone.



Texturepack

We're currently using the Conquest texturepack by monsterfish. This texturepack takes advantage of the meta-data for each block which allows us to create a much more dynamic world.

1.7.10

Since we're using the Conquest texturepack and we utilize all of the amazing meta-textures that come with it, we currently have to play on 1.7.10. While the 3D-models in 1.8 is very tempting, we feel that meta-textures adds more to the actual gameplay and overall experience.
But when the converter from 1.7.10 conquest metadata to the conquest mod is done we plan on moving to a newer version.

Being a member

Everyone is welcome on our server, however the world can be a dark and dangerous place and therefore we've restricted some features to our members. This includes access to many things on this website.

To become a member, you must be registered on Enjin. When that step is complete, head over to our "Member's Application", fill in the form and hope for an approval. We have no special requirements for our members but that they use common sense. However, it helps your application if you're active on the server and shows dedication or atleast curiosity.

Being a builder

If you want to take that extra step and help us create our dream, you must first become a member, then head over to our "Builder's Application", fill in the form and much like when you apply for membership, hope for approval.

As a builder, you get access to much more tools and features that a normal member or a guest don't have and hence we're more careful on who we approve as a builder.

We also got some nice projects online already.There you can see some of the RP lore and buildings in one of the bigger towns.
These towns will not be in the intitial release. But maybe in a future expansion.
