Near Torrent City is a passageway heavily guarded, leading into the depths of the Earth. The sound of pipework and steam powered extractors echo throughout the tunnels, and it all leads to Yarmere, a once-mining town converted into a state prison operated by the Regina Kingdom. The ever growing might of the kingdom and the future of steam tech depends on heinous criminals to throw their lives away away from the unknowing public, extracting metric tons of steamfuel daily to power the continent. Convicts who have spent many generations underground have formed a stable society despite rampant corruption.
