i created Xp chests
in only one command.

you just need to paste this command above in a command blok and activate it.
you can craft your Xp chest by trowing down
-gold block
-emerald block
-glass
you can store stuff n the Xp chest by standing on it,
if you want your xp back just klick on the gold block.
you can pick the xp chest up just by breaking it.

try to spread the machines more
search for the know about it in more detail
just throw a gold block emerald block and glass on the ground
look at the video :P
EDIT: Still doesnt work in 1.8.1, it also drops the command block items, the command blocks since they are falling sand entities, it fell too much or got spawned too late into another command block and it jsut breaks.
A suggestion: Instead of one tall tower of cmd blocks, make it 2 thick, with shorter cmd blocks so that it doesnt hit block limit. THen it will work in most superflats too and then if im not in superflat world and i get it to work, it wont create the xp chest if i throw down the stuff
