Story Update 1
We have made some progress on this map now. I have two new awesome map designers and builders cooperating with me now. REMEMBER IT IS NEVER TO LATE TO HELP, WE NEED YOU. I have made the storyline now.
Part 1- England (American, Canadian and British soldiers regroup for briefing) Get your gear
Part 2- Invasion on Pegasus Bridge located at Caen. If the bridge is conquered the Germans have no amoured support on the beaches of Sword,Juno and Gold. However the germans are not giving up without a fight.
Part 3- Inavsion on Omaha Beach. You are the fifth landing unit prepared to charge the island. You are a medic. Heal anyone you see. Then move to destroy the bunkers.
Part 4- Attack on Normandy. You will now move through the forest of France. Taking out all German troops and clearing towns....
Part 5- Finnaly you are at the doors of Germany. Few more miles and you are in the motherland of Germany. But in the Ardeness Forest. You find no amoured unit support and limited supplies. German push through your defenses! Hold them back before they cut your supply line. This is Hitler's last chance of winning the war. But I have trust in you boys!
Hey guys RubickDesigns here and i was thinking about something. This may or may not interest you. As the title said I will be thinking of building a D-Day adventure map. This will be a really hard task.
So far i have planned the story and the map layout. It will be a really hard task for me to endore on. Once it is done I envision it to be really awesome.
If you guys are interested in this map I will be working on please leave some diamonds behind before you leave! This will take some time so please wait for it.
It will be filled with awesomeness, thriller, curiousity, jam-packed action, war, bloody battles!!!
Okay for some of you , you may not know what D-Day litterally is. It is a day when the allies shocked the germans by breaking through the defenses at France. This occured on the 6th of June 1944. I have a strong believe this map will shine.
If any of you want to help out with this project please feel free to comment on what main battles or what type of stuff you want to see in the adventure map. If you want to help me on the server please feel free to note to me down below. You have to be either a redstone builder or a map designer.
Now that all the explanation has been made clear I want to share with you the story on this adventure. The story may change when I am making the map.This is not really based on a true story but it is simillar. Some speeches are made up by myself. But here it is, :)
June 3 , 1944 2a.m (PART 1)
OPERATION NEPTUNE
General Montgomery : (radio buffers)'Today is a day where all the allies go to war against Hitler and her allies. My prayers goes to all that will land on the German frontlines. God be with you ...... '(radio buffers)
You will land on the 42nd army with your fellow soldiers... You are a private so you are on the frontline. You will land first on the beach head so be careful. You are on the American army. You will meet some new soldiers when u land. You will land by a parachute. You are a paratrooper so be carefull. There will be 8 man in your squad. Your mission is to take out a small village in France called Lorient. This is a small town so you have to attack quickly and push the enemy back by a few miles before the reinforcement comes.
After completing this you may be Dead ?! If not you are really lucky. You are now transported back to the main naval base at the English Channel.
That was part 1 - part 2 will be out sooner or later so please be patient. Thanks for reading all this .

I've read a lot about it and been on most of the important places througout Normandy.
Btw the "Pendulum" bridge you mention above, isn't that the Pegasus bridge?
And if it's possible i would like to help in this project.
But the thing I am realy interested in is the storyline and historical part, I personnally love history and am pretty knowlegdeable about the 2 WW's.
