Hello. I have successfully created a working Tardis from the BBC Doctor Who television series.
READ
Before I show you the Tardis, I need for the map makers who are interested in using this to know that this is my build, so I get credit for it, meaning if you use an idea or the map itself you need to give your audience a direct link to this page or to my PMC account. If you are planing to make something like a Doctor Who adventure map that uses my build, you need to say who built the Tardis, DerptyCraft. If you modify the design, notify the audience that it has been modified from the original design. For anything that I have not already mentioned, send me a private message via PMC.
This is the Tardis, but don't worry. It gets more interesting.
You must remember that this is a fully functioning Tardis minus the factor of time travel, so you can move it around.
If you summon a squid named 'Tardis' the Tardis will disappear and materialize to the place that you placed the squid.
To go into the Tardis, walk up to the door and click on the Enter? to go inside.
Once inside, the room will look like this. This was by the way made only by hand, without MCEdit.
This is the console, where all the fun happens.

The Brains
This is a bit of an inside look of the Tardis.
These are some of the command blocks. Around 180 of command blocks were used in this design.
Here is the true exterior of the Tardis.

Sweet features!
Most of the Tardis's features are made up of custom commands using book and quills. If you do not know what that is here is a video of where I got the idea from.
To see the commands and what they do, get a book and quill (there's a built in dispenser on the opposite side of the entrance) and type in help to get a book with a list of commands. All of the information you need to know is there.
The Tardis has a neat materialization animation using cloning commands.

I was wondering if you would be interested in collabing to create a new and improved version for 1.14+ ?
I apologize for the late reply. I've been busy with work.
