The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.4.1
=Fixed a bug where the players items and items in the house would not despawn if you died while playing. This also contains changes for a cleaner house!
=Updated the map to Minecraft 1.19.2
=Updated the resource pack to Minecraft 1.19.2
=Changed the plates in the dining room to heavy pressure plates
=Changed the settings menu to be the extras menu (Currently Unused)
=Changed the singleplayer sign to read "Play" to avoid confusion of if there is multiplayer or not
=Changed the position of the signs in the main menu
-Removed a sign that was accidentally left in the lobby in 1.4
-Removed the clock sound
-Removed No-Owner Mode
-Removed Zero-Light Mode
-Removed potion particles from all the effects given by levelling rewards
That's it for this changelog. If no game breaking bugs are found in 1.4.1, 1.5 will be the next update. I'm very excited to start working on it! Please enjoy this little house keeping update for now though :)
The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.4
+Added end credits as the level 60 reward, capping off the leveling chart for now
+Added money wads to the game
+Added a score system to display how much total money you've collected from all those wads
+Added a new room under the stairs
+Added a new lobby to spawn into when you click "Singleplayer", which will be changed to "Play" in 1.4.1
=Changed the "Darker Mode" sign to read "Zero-Light Mode"
=Fixed a spelling mistake on the item list
=Fixed a bug where the Owner wouldn't spawn if the long spawn time was chosen
=Pending solution to a bug where items won't despawn if you die while playing (Will most likely be fixed in 1.4.1)
-Removed potion particles from the saturation and slowness effects (finally!)
-Removed the torch from the starting setup due to it being redundant to players not using Optifine
Well that's it for 1.4! I know it doesn't seem like 4 months of work, and that's because its not. Remember, I took a break. So I hope y'all enjoy the new update as I look forward to building on a few systems introduced in the last few updates, including the money wads.
Edit: I just found out that I left a sign in the lobby that wasn't supposed to be there. It'll be gone in 1.4.1
The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.3.4
+Added The Owner Destroyer back into the game as the level 55 reward. It works a little differently, but hey its back!
+Updated the map to be played on Minecraft 1.18.1
+Updated the resource pack to work on 1.18.1 as well
=Fixed a bug where all the items were spawned in all locations. Probably didn't give my map a good rep lol
=Fixed a bug where the closet doors would remain open upon starting a new game if you opened them last game
=Fixed a bug where you could mine the middle block of the bathroom counter and it would count as the DVD player
Well, that's it for 1.3.4, I've decided to take the idea that 1.4 was going to change everything and throw that completely out the window. Instead, I made a list of ideas for upcoming updates that I was slowly going to phase in through major and sub releases. This means more updates, in a quicker fashion! Thanks for the support again! I really appreciate it!
Quick Edit: I just realized Planet Minecraft has an updates tab now in the editing page, however I'm still gonna use the replies just because its fun, and the old way of doing things :)
The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.3.3
+Added a list of all the items in the lobby so that players can link the names of items to what they are in-game
=Made the player get the starting items at the same time they enter the game
=Fixed a bug where the Fast Clock wouldn't work correctly
=Fixed a bug where the Absolute Absorper wouldn't work correctly
So like I said, this will most likely be the last release of legacy edition. Good thing I hadn't touched this map since 1.3.2 released, otherwise I would've never caught these little bugs! I feel like I should've added the item list in the lobby a little sooner as the game was probably confusing to a new player! Anyway, enjoy version 1.3.3!
The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.3.2
+Added Owner spawn timer randomizers
+Added Item randomizers only for items that make sense to be randomized (ex. BBQ, Lawn Mower, and Bicycle aren't randomized because where else do you put those other than a garage)
=Changed the office door to be a fulling opening door to prevent cheesing the owner by locking him in there.
-Removed multiplayer due to it feeling largely incomplete and broken
So yeah! That's it for legacy edition. Now begins work on 1.4, an update that will change the systems a lot. Thank you for supporting this map as much as you all have, I couldn't be more grateful for it! I really wanted to make sure 1.3.2 was practically perfect as this was the final release of legacy edition that will be available. Enjoy playing 1.3.2 everyone! I'll see you in 1.4, or if I discover 1.3.2 has a game breaking bug, in which case 1.3.3 will follow, but that's not likely.
The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.3.1
+Added a bunch of new items these are: bicycle, rare wine, BBQ, blender, guitar, dvd player, game console, diamond ring, jewelry box, and bracelet
=Moved some stuff around the house to make the new items work
This is really it. Its a very minor update. Thx for the support as always, I hope you'll enjoy this update!
The Very Organized Thief - Version 1.3 - The Multiplayer Update
+ Added a new multiplayer system (In a very primitive state)
+ Added Co-op and Versus
(I couldn't think of a way to end a game of versus when the thief dies, so you'll have to stop it yourself)
+ Added a new resource pack, which can be found in the settings menu
+ Added a new main menu
+ Added a new world icon
= Changed the amount of XP given after each round to 1 level. This was to prevent a bug where you could skip over leveling reward levels and not get access to your reward. Also makes getting level 35 a lot easier!
= Changed a few things around the house to prepare for the next update
= Changed the version number from 1.2 to 1.3
- Removed The Owner Destroyer and replaced it with a stack of Notch apples. This was due to a patch in 1.17.1 which now disallows enchantment levels over 255, according to Mojang, enchantments over 255 was actually a bug all along, and was never meant to be in the game. I guess Mojang doesn't like fun
So I know I took a decently long break from working on this map, but I'm gonna take another break as well. I wanna start working on other types of maps based on other games I like, so if you wanna stay notified on that, follow me on Planet Minecraft, or subscribe to my YouTube channel! Thank you for all the downloads, and diamonds, and hearts, and as I promised in 1.2's changelog, I will come back to this map and work on it until at least Version 1.6.
