The Redeemer, a 1/4 scale Star Destroyer with a full interior (currently under construction). Its a very powerful and destructive ship with its own touch to the Imperial Army. Keep an eye out for more updates!
No MCedit has been used and none will be ever used in this build.

A Little Background on the Redeemer: This Star Destroyer in Minecraft is actually only 1/4 of the scale one actually is. I got the name from Empire at War (Star Wars RTS* Game) when playing the Empire, I got a destroyer names the Redeemer. It sounded great so I chose the name.
The Star Wars background of the ship: The Redeemer is a Non-Typical Destroyer. It holds less Tie Fighters and more Stormtroopers than a typical Destroyer. The Ship was built in the Kuat Shipyards in 0 BBY**. The ship was built for troop transport and was testing how the troops functioned in a less strict environment. The Top Secret part is for anything that is not known to the Empire and is to research it. Anything that did not fit in that bay was transferred to the Auxiliary Cargo Bay. The ship was built around the time the second Death Star was destroyed, Lord Vader himself smashed the bottle of Rodian Ale**** against the hull of the ship when the ship was commissioned on 0 ABY*** 2 days after the Executor is Commissioned.

**BBY - Before the Battle of Yavin
***ABY - After the Battle of Yavin
****Rodian Ale - a banned drink yet quite popular still.

I have not gone back and fixed any errors in the background for it is not yet complete. For more information, keep an eye out for updates on the project.

Right after I type this response, I am starting a new SD, this time with an entire interior, set in the TFA era with the new Ties and an interdictor device. It is called the ISD Defiant, and actual EU SD but re-done for the canon era. Thanks!

Has an explore, this ship is really cool. Best ship, as far as attention to detail goes, that I've encountered on here. :O the empty interior though. It all seemed so together until I got to just forward of the superstructure... I think it'd be a job for MCEdit in case you haven't used it already. Anyway, smashing job, I hope you get back into it.

thanks man. one reason ive stopped temporarily was because i need to use MCEdit for the rest and I wont be able to do as much detail unless I spend another year. I will be finishing it, just let band finish and ill have the time. tahnks man, this makes me want to keep workin!

detailed modules like rooms and dining halls and then a load of ctrl + c, ctrl + v works nicely. Afterwards, you can go over the mass copy-pasted areas and add extra details and make areas unique manually. Also, mirroring can be very good aboard symmetrical ships like the ISD. Anyway good stuff, keep it up

ik its suppose to be somewhat symetrical but i like making the halls sym, but not the rooms. so i probably will be doing that as soon as i have the time.

regarding update 52 you can try uploading backups to a website from time to time, a personal favorite is Mediafire. so that in case something like this happens again you can at least recover. If you got a usb drive often save a backup there as well
