The Pixel Scrolls I: Niroth

The Pixel Scrolls I: Niroth is the first installment of the Pixel Scrolls series of Minecraft adventure maps made by BaconCraft Studios. This map and series is based off of The Elder Scrolls series by Bethesda Game Studios. We have no affiliation with Bethesda and do not claim any storyline ideas for our own. We do not claim rights for the story or quest line.



This adventure map is years in the making, utilising all of Minecraft's latest features including update 1.8 features such as armour stands to create animated NPC's. The map will have a full quest line with interactive NPC's which move, and with which you can have full detailed conversations with using the wonderful command block. The map will also feature custom crafting recipies using fake crafting tables and anvils which act ad work benches and tool forges. This map is 100% vanilla Minecraft, and is one of the most detailed and thought-through adventure maps I have seen to date. Though only about 10% completed so far, we have done a lot of work. More pictures and updates will be shared as we progress until an early demo version of the map can be released for alpha testing. We thank you for your paitence and appreciate any support given as this is truly a very large project. (The map is 3000x2000 and we plan to use it all.)

- Valpoint (Small village with a sea-side port, major transport hub for Ecrin Empire)
- Wandermere Hold (2nd largest city in Niroth, huge grain port, best farmland in Niroth)





Lore Stuffs:
The island of Niroth, a cold and bitter place to reside, is the northern-most province in the continent of Norwich. It is believed by many that all three Pixel Scrolls came from this very province. Niroth is home to the Nords, a very strong and hardy race that would seem to have adapted to thrive in Niroth's harsh and cold weather. Niroth is a very massive province, it is littered with massive mountains, ancient Dwemer ruins, ancient Nordic crypts and very ancient dragon burial sites. It is said in old Nord tales that there was once a great war between these dragons and the inhabitants of Niroth long ago. It would seem that these tales are actually fact, because the dragons are slowly returning. It turns out that in order to stop the dragons from returning, one mighty warrior has to make their way into a whole other dimension where the world eater, Alduin is ressurecting all of the past dragons. The main fighting force against the dragons are the soldiers enlisted into the Ecrin Empire. The Ecrin Empire was formed long ago, in the capital province known as Iyesgarth. The empire invaded Niroth long ago and now watch over it's people with a tight grip. A small group of Nords who have a lot of pride for Niroth have sparked a rebellion known as the Firespawn rebellion. Their goal is to drive the empire out of Niroth so that the people can be free to protect themselves. The Ecrin Empire is lead by Pran Ecrin, and the Firespawn rebellion is lead by Norbrir Tallowhand. Recently, a group of Ecrin soldiers were transporting the only Pixel Scroll that has been discovered across Niroth towards Iyesgarth, but they were attacked by a group of Firespawn soldiers and the scroll was lost in transport. The best guess is that the scroll was found by a group of bandits. He who finds the scroll is in for a large reward from the Ecrin Empire.
