The Four Horsemen 1.8 (old version)

Althought a mini version of the 4 horsemen has been added in 1.9 (snapshots), Im going to be using the new combat updates to experiment with hardcore summonable bosses of the four horsemen.




Ever wanted to do battle with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse?

Well i am making that wish come true! At least in minecraft.

So far all I have is the four mobs. They are in need of some more power full weapons, and lots of enchantments.

You may also notice that their horses are riding invisible spiders, this is so that they will act as a hostile mob. The plan is that each horseman will have a particle effect under their feet: ex: smoke fire and lava for War. This should make them look like they are magicaly running on air.

Any ideas? Let me know.

These mobs are going to turn into an end fight for a multiplayer map I am working on.

Put this project down for a little while, but have got some inperation for differnt things. At some point (not sure if it will be soon, or a few months away) I will be working on each Horsemen indvidually.

The orginal idea as the place particles around the spider as to mask the fact that it is there. But the Horsemen also need health boosts and potion effects.

But thats just the basics, these guys should be able to wreck worlds and drop epic items.

So far I have a few ideas for these special traits.

Famine  for example Famine will give all nearby players hunger and nuasia, and if you get hit by him then you also get weakness and slowness.

Any ideas for the other guys? I have some but would love some feedback.

Nice! I've had this idea for a while now,but I was too lazy to make it XD Glad to see you're doing it.
I think that each horse men should have their ups and downs, eg Death moves really really really slow,but once he hits you...He doesn't insta-kill you! Not what you were expecting to hear eh? I think you should make it so that,for everytime the really really slow horseman known as "Death" hits you,you permanetly(meaning after respawning) lose a heart(the player can start with more than 10,so that the fight would be more epic).

For war,you can make it so that as long as he's alive,the others are buffed or something.Maybe make it so that if he hits you,every time you get near another player for a duration,they'll get damaged (to make it look like you're hitting your friends because of some crazy blood-lust thing)

For the green guy which I never knew existed,you can make some sort of "disease",if someone gets infected,they'll have a chance of spreading the disease to other players.I think the disease should be a combination of poison,weakness and resistance set to negative(meaning they'll be more vulnerable). Don't make it permanet though! That's just cruel.
 
I think their attack damage should be in this order:  Death > War > A huge gap > Famine > the other guy

i think there  is a command perameter you can set that would make the horses feet lower in the spider, giving the appearance of it being on the ground.

Thanks all.... I have a bunch of ideas, but I have no idea what special effect Death should have.... im thinking wither, but im not really sure what else.... maybe all plants die around him.... I know that Im going to have Pestilience creat mycelium and give out poisen, but im still not sure for death.

Any ideas?

Pestilence it gives me an error code can u check whats wrong and update the post cause i am trying to spawn him in and i cant
