New build time!

So I've taken an almost year long break from playing minecraft now, I got bored of it for a while and lost my motivation to build and create stuff so I just stepped away for a bit. Lately though I've been kinda itching to get back to making stuff, so I decided to try and make something out of some crap laying around in a world of mine, and this is the result!

I made this with the intentions of just doing the exterior, something to just look at from the outside. I hate doing interiors, so I said screw it, like usual. There technically are interiors, but theres nothing there really...a few spiral staircases and walls.

I wanted to try and do something different with this build, so I decided to try and build the front part on a curve, I also worked more with domes as I haven't really done that in the past. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out given that I just worked on this over the last couple of weekends. The terrain is from my latest project as I didn't feel up to making new terrain for this.

So yeah, had fun making this, I think my next project is going to be more in-depth. Larger, more detailed, custom terrain, more time spent on it, etc. I really want to try and build something awe-inspiring and have been trying to add to my building arsenal, but there are a lot of things I'm still not good at and could still do better. We'll see I guess!

Anyways, thanks for looking and hope you like it. Default textures are being used, as usual. The first set of screenshots are with shaders on, and the last set is just default minecraft. Just post if there are any problems with the map or anything.
