Presenting the Kuat Drive Yards hexagonal bridge module for Destroyer/Battlecruiser-class vessels. This bridge module is as wide as a small frigate and lends an extensive overview of any battlefield situation, as well as serving as an imposing reminder of Imperial might. This module was mass-produced by Kuat Drive Yards, built with components from many Imperial firms, and then fitted to only the largest and most formidable of vessels in the Imperial Navy.
This particular example, with a notable comscan array placed atop the centreline, is modelled after the bridge module found on the 2.2km-long Allegiance-class Star Battlecruiser. From his high vantage point, an Imperial captain or CO can issue orders to the rest of the ship or battle group. Deep within the heavily armoured and shielded hexagonal structure, essentially a giant capital-grade bunker, officers and technical crew can coordinate the running of the ship as well as the movements of surrounding ships and ground forces. The bridge is almost autonomous owing to its internal, auxiliary reactors which give it the ability to power its own systems. At any one time, the bridge may be staffed with a crew of several hundred.

Info on the build
This bridge is a little side-project of mine. If I could build the shell of an Allegiance-class BC and put it on top of there I would, but height limit!
I won't give it a huge effort as my focus is on other projects (Fulgor and some others) but I will return to it from time to time.
The design is Evillejedi's, who is a guy who has made very famous mods for Homeworld 2, called Star Wars: Warlords. Check it out if you haven't already and you like Star Wars.

I will continue to work on it, although no I won't be adding the rest of the ship as it won't fit within the height limit so I don't much see the point... I might build some other parts of the ship though. For example I've already built the turbolaser turrets that would be found on the Allegiance. I'll remake those some day.
