A Space Marine Battle Barge in Black Templars livery. I've been working on this on and off since around January. It's far from done, but I think posting this online will help motivate me to finish it. I plan to fill every inch of this thing with rooms, armories, hangar bays, kitchens, training rooms, etc. Once done, it's going to be about a thousand meters long, 200 meters high and a few hundred wide from wingtip to wingtip.

Update: I won't be able to get it exactly how Games Workshop models look like because of the height limits in Minecraft, so it's going to look "streamlined" and by streamlined, I mean flatter than they should. LOL! Luckily, Battle Barges don't have to look exactly the same as they can be customized/modified by individual chapters to suite their needs.

Some background on Battle Barges:
The largest vessel in the Space Marine armory, most chapters only have 2-3 Battle Barges in service. Large amounts of space within the ship is dedicated to hangar bays for transports and boarding torpedoes. They also have armories and forges to maintain and produce most of the equipment that the Marines need to wage their wars across the galaxy. Highly automated due to the thousands of mindless servitors (half human and half machine), Battle Barges only needs a skeletal crew of a handful of Marines. They are capable of delivering 3 full companies of Space Marines and their support vehicles planet-side within 20 minutes of arriving in a star system via Thunderhawk Gunships, Thunderhawk Transporters and Drop pods. Although their primary function is to deliver the God-Emperor's wrath that are the Space Marines, they can reduce a planet to rubble with their powerful bombard cannons and massive bombs when necessary. Protected by powerful Void Shields, bringing down a Battle Barge would be a monumental task indeed.
