КТГ 4 – грузовой троллейбус , производившийся на Киевском троллейбусном заводе с 1982 года. Год прекращения производства неизвестен. Троллейбус не слишком отличается от похожих на него моделей КТГ 1 и КТГ 2 . Единственное существенное отличие этого троллейбуса от предшественников – более просторный салон, а также наличие огромных окон автобусного типа.

Как и другие КТГ, этот грузовой троллейбус способен ездить как от дизельного двигателя , так и от мощного электромотора (мощностью примерно 140 кВт). Максимальная скорость троллейбуса больше, чем у КТГ 1 или КТГ 2 - достигает 60-65 км/ч.

Троллейбус существенно отличается от других КТГ тем, что имеет огромные окна и салон «автобусного» типа, то есть в салоне установлены пары кресел (подобно УАЗу ) для пассажиров. В общей сложности сидений в троллейбусе — 9 штук, но троллейбус не рассчитан на стоячих пассажиров. Кабина водителя не отделена от салона, придающего грузовому троллейбусу вид полупассажирисского. Общая пассажировместимость машины – 11 человек. У троллейбуса есть 2 двери: одна ведет к кабине водителя (что не отделена от салона), другая дверь находится посередине троллейбуса, она раздвижная. Привычная для КТГ 1 раздвижная задняя дверь отсутствует из-за того, что троллейбус имеет пассажирский салон.

Троллейбус не выполняет грузовые функции, и чаще всего используется как столовая на ходу для рабочих или водителей. Также в троллейбусе возможны пассажирские перевозки небольших групп людей (однако маловероятно). Иногда такие троллейбусы используются как машины техпомощи, буксировки или подогрева.

В Украине всего пять таких моделей: три троллейбуса (один из них простаивает в депо из-за неисправности) работают как переездные столовые для водителей пассажирских троллейбусов или рабочих. В городах Хмельницкий и Черкассы работают еще 2 модели.

KTG 4 is a cargo trolleybus produced at the Kiev Trolleybus Plant since 1982. The year of production termination is unknown. The trolleybus is not too different from similar models KTG 1 and KTG 2. The only significant difference between this trolleybus and its predecessors is a more spacious interior, as well as the presence of huge bus-type windows.

Like other CTGs, this cargo trolleybus is capable of driving both from a diesel engine and from a powerful electric motor (approximately 140 kW). The maximum speed of the trolleybus is greater than that of KTG 1 or KTG 2 - it reaches 60-65 km / h.
The trolleybus differs significantly from other KTGs in that it has huge windows and a “bus”-type interior, that is, pairs of seats are installed in the cabin (like UAZ) for passengers. In total, there are 9 seats in the trolleybus, but the trolleybus is not designed for standing passengers. The driver's cab is not separated from the passenger compartment, which gives the cargo trolleybus the appearance of a semi-passenger one. The total passenger capacity of the car is 11 people. The trolleybus has 2 doors: one leads to the driver's cabin (which is not separated from the passenger compartment), the other door is in the middle of the trolleybus, it is sliding. The sliding rear door, familiar to KTG 1, is absent due to the fact that the trolleybus has a passenger compartment.
The trolleybus does not perform cargo functions, and is most often used as a canteen on the go for workers or drivers. Passenger transportation of small groups of people is also possible in a trolleybus (however, it is unlikely). Sometimes such trolleybuses are used as technical assistance, towing or heating vehicles.There are only five such models in Ukraine: three trolleybuses (one of them is idle in the depot due to a malfunction) operate as crossing canteens for drivers of passenger trolleybuses or workers. In the cities of Khmelnytsky and Cherkasy, 2 more models work.
