A small historical Egyptian mosque dating from the period of the Mamluk Sultanate (1250–1517). It contains a bit of road and a well on the outside. In the entry way you will find a shoe rack and ablution pool for Muslims to clean their feet before entering. Entering the inner sanctum you see the Mihrab, the niche which indicates the direction of Mecca, towards which prayer is given. To it's right side stands the Minbar (pulpit) from which the Imam (Islamic preacher) would give his sermon. The roof and ceilings are decorated with ornate tiles as typically present in Islamic architecture. Adjacent to the building stand the Minaret from which the Adhan (call to prayer) is called.
"MessyMedieval attempts to use every asset (block / item) to the best of its ability to create the most immersive and realistic environments possible within vanilla Minecraft. It does this without relying on visual mods or resource packs, but rather by following the core rules and principles of the MessyMedieval philosophy."
