Hello, everyone, we are LatexCraft and we proudly present the RHAF Tempet, flagship of the Royal Hamlet Air Fleet.
The airship was entirely built by Grimlitz, so far it took 30+ hours to complete and we must admit we're quite proud of it :) There are many airships out there but few are so big and even fewer are so functional. Grimlitz wanted the build not only to look good but also to make sense and be fun to play with. Therefore, the cargo hold doors open and close, the guns really fire, the bomb bays really release primed TNT and the Devastator really devastates, all thanks to a lot of redstone wiring and a desire for interactivity :)
The build is only 80% complete! There's a lot of details yet to be done as well as custom textures. Once it reaches 100%, we're making a video of the airship bombing and lavaing (is that a word?) stuff as well as shooting down other airships :) Make sure not to miss it!:)
Now, some details.
The Tempet is a Lé-class battleship designed for assuming complete air dominance in its area of operations. The Fleet uses many vessels designed for a specific purpose o attacking ground positions, fighting airborne vehicles, carrying troops. The Tempet was built to combine these specializations and become the universal master of the skies. Boasting enough firepower to destroy anything in its way and capable of delivering a massive payload on any ground target while sending down units of Air Marines, the Tempet is a true technical marvel and without doubt the most powerful airship in the Fleet.
Specifications
Length: 151 bl.
Width: 35 bl. (without sails) 121 bl. (including sails)
Height: 84 bl.
Crew: 48 (8 officers, 40 airmen) + up to 80 Air Marines
Armament: 18+18 fixed side guns, 2x2 AA guns in rotating turrets
Payload: 72 TNT, infinite Lava

I agree the distribution of diamond is ridiculous. I mean this project gets 11, and I've seen simple modern houses get 20.
another case: circleight averages 300 to 700 diamonds on her builds, while much simpler builds sometimes get several thousands. that's probably because of the amount of advertising done by them and for them, and whether they are mentioned by any famous youtubers.
submit this to minecraft Top 5 Creations of machinima. I'm sure you'll get a spot, especially if you suggest airships as a topic. do similar things with your other builds. then I'm sure you will get a lot more diamonds.
To the diamond thing - we may admit a slight disappointment with the current number since we expected a bit more. However, the situation is quite obvious and the problem is very simple. We're new here :) We joined a month ago and so far posted only two 100% projects, one of them a relatively minor one. We've got diamonds and complimentary comments from some people who we hold in great esteem - and that really gladdens the heart - but on the other hand, our cool people list, as we call it (i.e. the list of subscribers), counts twelve which (however dear those people are to us) is a very small army to go to war with :) Because in the end, as we've learned, it's not really your work that brings you diamonds, it's your fanbase.
So, we keep the expectations low and take heart from what we've got.
12 subscribers? - Cool. The number was 7 a few days ago.
Level 10 after 1 month? - Not bad, we were stuck in the middle of level 7 a two or threes day back.
The airship-guru gave the Tempet a diamond? - F*cking sweet! :)
We're gonna get there, it just won't be today or tomorrow :)
Anyway, thanks again for the comment and advice, we'll definitely do that in the near future and keep an eye on us, there's more great stuff coming up.
But if the don't - whatever :) We'll just start again and hope to impress with the next project :)
