I'm pausing my rural train station again. School time is also not much more forgiving, but still here I have to you my recreation of CP 1900 and CP 1960 series diesel electric locomotives. Hope you like it! Next some freight wagons for the locos will follow. I'm also doing some teaking on my scale but still don't expect changes soon.
About the locos:
1900 series:
1960 series:
There was also a 1930 series but it is extremely close to the 1900 locos.
Only the 1900 series features the full engine compartment since I could not fing reference material regarding the 1960 series engines.
Note: I don't take any credit for the real life photos of the engines shown, they are only used for the sole purpose of providing people with a mean of comparison between my work and the real thing.

About the locos:
1900 series:
History:
In 1979 'Caminhos de Ferro Portugueses' ordered 13 powerfull diesel electric locos to haul the fuel oil trains from Sines' refinery to Carregado's powerplant. They were also the first locos to be fitted with dynamic braking. Having entered service in 1981 they were rarely used on the fuel transport due to the oil having hauled order freight and even passenger services. Later with the opening of the Neves-Corvo mining branch line they were used on the ore trains, and later also on the coal trains to Sines untill 2002 when the 5600 series took care of the coal transport, being those the heaviest trains in Portugal, and the Sotavento passenger service since 1982 were they replaced the older 1800 series. They were built by Alsthom they resemble the french 72000 series.

This locos were the most powerfull in Portugal having replace most of the 1800 series. They were also the longest for many years. With a top speed of 120km/h they served many passenger services as well freight ones. In 2017 only 1963 engine was operational, hauling cargo services.
