The endless crags of the Passage Steppes are rife with hidden treasures and creatures found nowhere else in the land. The stone crags and outcrops that decorate the mountain's slopes provide shelter from the tireless wind and home to some of the most curious creatures in the land. Hermits wander the Steppes aimlessly, never staying in one place and talking to only the nomad tribes that roam the hills. The land is safe and acts as a route of travel between cities, yet often wolves bound down from the hills to scare ill-fortuned travellers. Fortune shines of those who respect the passage.

The Passage Steppes mark quite a few events, so many in fact that I'm not sure where to start. This map is the first one that I've received a render from someone else from (thanks to Barbarian, check him out here) and also the first that I've dabbled with WorldMachine. I say I, but it was really Sergecj who added a few terraces and erosion filters to some base terrain I made. This is also the first collaboration I've done with another terraformer, it's great to work on something like this with another person. This terrain was done rather quickly by terrain standards so we're considering it a speedrun challenge rather than a normal one. We've both happy with how it turned out for a speedrun and both know what areas we need to focus on in our individual future terrains.
