(I don't know why some of my images say that this site took this submission from Planet Minecraft, since this IS Planet Minecraft. I am unsure as to how I am capable of jacking my own stuff, but apparently . . . I'm a ninja like that. Just refresh your browser, and you should be able to see the images.)
PROJECT START DATE: 1/28/2012
So, what are you seeing here? I started with the Amphitheatrum, which has four boxes (I have been planning to revamp one of the boxes, or add another box for the royalty to watch from) and high walls, two gladiator quarters (still have yet to add beds/chests to that area). The Amphitheatrum here would be for sporting events such as arena fighting, marathons, javelin, etc. The raised area in the middle would be used for fights--and a bit on that, below the raised platform there is a pit of lava, into which an opponent could be flung. There is also water below, if the opponent can make it to the water, he or she may survive, but . . . dun dun dun!! There's also a dungeon below, so . . . yeah . . .
The Palace extends out from the (only) road (I will be adding more roads and structures later) and this is currently the work in progress. There are two stables, a large garden, and coming soon are servants' quarters, throne room, and conference room.
UPDATE 2/20/2012: Palace is nearly finished. My next project will be the Temple to Jupiter, which will be situated on the side of the city opposite the palace. Dining hall and kitchen have been completed, including servants' quarters and spawned NPCs (it's very annoying that the NPCs hover around the doors, isn't it? Am I the only one who thinks that's annoying?) and beds/chests. Speaking of which, beds/chests/NPCs have also been added to the gladiator quarters--Amphitheatrum boxes have also been filled with NPCs.
Tell me what you think, give me a diamond if you like it. If you don't . . . well, tell me why you don't like it.
