This is a 2:1 scale model of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, including the surrounding buildings and landscaping. It is the product of hundreds, if not over 1000 hours of work over four years.
  
  I have gone to great lengths to ensure every area and detail is as accurate as possible. After spending countless hours planning, studying photos and plans, watching videos, and doing other research, I can say for certain that this must be the most accurate and detailed replica ever created. Every one of the 150+ stained glass windows was modeled on the real window in its place, as were the 37 uniquely decorated side chapels and dozens of murals, paintings, statues, and more. Even the usually inaccessible spaces, such as the wooden framing in the roof and bell towers, have been recreated very closely to the originals thanks to obscure photos and videos I was able to find. The surrounding areas, too, were carefully planned out and built as accurately as possible. The landscaping, streets, and building façades are all very close to their originals. The landscaping around Notre Dame has changed a bit in the past 15 years, so in some instances it is not current----different areas have been built in the ways I was able to find the best documentation for, but everything is as it was at some point.

This project was started in August 2016 and completed in December 2020.
