Hello. This project is a land I've created for the Medieval Roleplaying game server "Shattered Seals". It has no name at the moment, as we're still in creation of the etymology and mythology of the cultures and races. Its size is 8k by roughly 6k (after trimming), and is intended to represent fairly geographically-accurate landforms, with some thought given to the processes that created each "terrain".  In its current state, there are no below-ground geological features or any hyper-realistic forms (such as mineral veins metamorphic facies, etc.), and I probably won't include anything like that - its so much work. However, various boulders, fissures, mines, and outcrops will be added on a micro level.


The overall thought is that this continent was an older chunk of land that a few terranes accreted onto, forming sharp mountain ridges which have weathered down over time in interesting fashion. One such area, the realm of the Crown, has been formed as white alabaster was uplifted and the higher areas have worn down, leaving sheer vertical faces and spears aloft the sea. As the "crown" erodes, so does the history of the elvish empire. Ruins are scattered across the land, now inhabited by Humanity.


River canyons, Fjords, Valleys, Glaciers, Mountain Passes, Highlands, Lowlands, Foothills, Marshes, Swamps, Floodplains, Steppes, and Moors are all included, and are in need of only trees and some groundcover added to them in places (Not to mention cool buildings). I set the progress at 50% because of these reasons, and I don't think it will be too much work for someone that knows what they're doing to get it to a finished state through the use of schematics. In the first half, i really focused on designing the forms that make up the shapes of the map. Its pretty open-world, but with afew regions that do provide gameplay flow for players.

The reason why there is a flat line at the top of the continent map is that there will be a continuation of the continent into northern lands. Right now I'm still absorbing and creating ideas so you can't download it, but can visit it by going to the shattered seals ip or applying to build on it. There are other threads for that.
