Welcome To Nature's Dome!

-Where the odds are in Nature's favor!

Welcome to our entry to the Survival Games Arena Contest! We, TheLucmann, MCLudo, Twinklestar02 and me(TheLarsinator), have made this arena over the last days. The main idea was to make an arena filled with different types of landscapes!

We therefor decided to make an Arena with the podiums in the middle, surounded by a little lake/Ocean. On the other side of this we devided the Arena into 9 different parts:

Plains that stretch from the ocean to the border of the arena. With a lot of hills which house everything from chests to redstone puzzles, but also traps and hidden doors.
A big desert with nothing more than a pyramid and a bunch of cacti. Just because there isnt much to see on the outside, there is no reason to feel safe. The Pyramid is a huge maze with hidden switches, mobs, redstone traps and puzzles.
A large vulcano that reaches up in the sky. Lave flowing of at all sides and making this a dangerous place to be. The harsh condition stand together with amazing jumping puzzles and traps making this the ultimate challenge for survival. In return you get good hiding places.
Inside the jungle with huge trees you can find a hidden Maya Temple. This contains a maze filled with deadly traps, both redstone traps and regular. You should also search through this jungle and most certantly not forget the tree crowns
The islands are not very big but may contain usefull secrets. The entrance may not be so easy to find but once found....
The Broadleaf forrest has a mild terrain which makes it perfect if you want to get away fast. But also here you will be confronted with traps, puzzles and hidden chests. Also look for a hidden passway leading to (nearly) safety!
In the Arctics its important to stay warm. Perhaps you should try to find a warm Iglo to live in. Or try your luck in the challengeing Ice Mountain. Filled with parkour, this will make the weak fall early!
In the little swamp you will find fewer traps, however, this doesnt mean you are safe... Look through the water and hills to find good chests with usefull stuff. Oh, and dont disturb the old witch :P
The Last zone of this arena is the ravine. Covered with a huge arche this part is a challenging terrain to get through. But if you manage to locate the old Lava Temple hidden inside your victory may be closer than you think. Just watch out for traps, lava and of course big heights...
The spawn area lies in the middle of the Arena. Its surrounded with water on all sides. And even this part of the Arena contains secrets...

Some practical facts:

All the different zones in this Arena have aproxmatly 25 chests. Meaning over 200 in the entire Arena This is to asure that it doesnt really matter which way you go. All the chests are hidden and protected by powerfull and deadly traps, hard parkours and mother nature.

The arena has a radius of 200 blocks and a diameter of 400(obviously). Its surrounded by a mountain range and a glass globe that is on top of this mountain range making it impossible to get out.

We hope everyone likes it and enjoys playing it. This is our first Terraforming project and we are really happy with how it turned out. So now there it just waiting left to see if we make it to the finals!

PS: When adding this Arena to your server remember to make a big square selecting around the dome, som parts of the ruins under the forest got a bit outside the dome....

Found the save files while digging through my hard drive today! Got some messages that the link was broken so a new one is up and working! It works perfectly with 1.8. Just remember to setup your Survival Games server correctly
