This penthouse suite follows the theme of living near the coast. Although the build lives in the confines of the solo build contest plot, imagine this at the very top of an apartment of a beautiful, bustling, coastal city like the one in the render (first image). The rooms are designed around having a view like that, taking blocks like Prismarine and Quartz and using them in a way that feels natural.

The upper floor has a balcony with a pool, because the walk to the beach is just too far for city dwellers, and a luxurious bedroom with en-suite. Downstairs is a lobby, kitchen and lounge separated by a fish tank, and a small office and bathroom.

In the first picture, the city outside is a picture of ground zero with the new 1 WTC to the far left of the picture. Judging by the positioning, that is aproximately where the W New York Downtown hotel would be so for fun I imagine this to be the penthouse of that building :)

I noticed that the first picture has a city outside but did you also use a shader for that? What's the name of the shader if you did use one, if not your one hell of a good Graphics designer. Nice build too! Best of luck hope you make it to the finalist.

Bit of graphics design, bit of clever software!

The shadows aren't in-game shaders, it's a render made with software called Chunky and then I photoshopped the real skyscraper image into the window (which was made transparent in the render)
