THE MAP IS COMPLETE!
Reminder, that this map is currently only available on BEDROCK edition, which means only console, mobile devices, and Windows 10 users can play. You can use chunker.app to convert the map to JAVA, but it will be very buggy and none of the redstone or commands will work. I will make a java version eventually, you don't need to ask. UPDATE FOR JAVA PLAYERS! I'm working on a bigger, better, updated version for java! Check it out here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/lost-island-minecraft-map-revamped-java-edition/
SOME DEVICES MAY REQUIRE YOU TO INSTALL A THIRD PARTY FILE EXPLORER LIKE "CX File Explorer" TO OPEN THE .MCWORLD FILE
Here are some tips before you play:
I won't tell you what you can't do, but if you want to keep the mystery of the Island intact while playing, I suggest going into your video settings and confirming that your render distance is BELOW 20. Also, do not explore the ocean besides visiting the Hydra Island or the Looking Glass. There is nothing else out there besides normal Minecraft generation that can break the immersion.
Try to stay in survival, unless you don't care about any of the adventure mode aspect and just want to explore. In that case, /gamemode c all you want :)
Please have fun! This project has been my life and soul for the past four years, and it would have been nothing without the tireless effort of iKonaKona and prof_snape. Wherever they may be, this is more than just my creation. It's a tribute to everything they did for me, without them even knowing. Their map, and my attempts to recreate it in bedrock over the years since 2012, led me to use Minecraft as a coping mechanism and outlet for my creativity. Without them, I would have been a very different person. Thank you.
UPDATE: The map will be released sometime in late February of this year! Be excited! The Island has gotten a fresh coat of trees and various touch-ups have been added. I still need to furnish the Temple, complete the Tunnels, finish the Flame Station's bunker, and add various adjustments to every location to make it all play-ready.
Sometime after release, I will publish another update that will fully flesh out the adventure map aspect and add the Kahana Freighter.
After many years of work, the entire Island from the 2004 TV Series "LOST" recreation in Minecraft Bedrock Edition is nearing completion! I have a few more things left to do, and once completed it will be free to download!
I love Lost, and I love Minecraft even more. 7 years ago, when I first saw a video series by Chimneyswift featuring the Lost Island map by iKonaKona and prof_snape, I was absolutely ecstatic. Unfortunately, it was only available for java, and as a pocket edition player that was a bit of a bummer for me.
So I got to work.
I started building my own island map! And it sucked. So I tried again! And it still sucked. The terraforming aspect was essentially impossible, we didn't have worldpainter back then. But the actual structures... that was the real soul of the map. It was so hard... but I didn't give up. I practiced my building skills for so long...
And now, the cultivation of 10 years of Minecraft experience... I present to you the nearly completed map. I never could get a hang of terraforming, so with the help of iKonaKona's original map, I was able to get the basic shape of the island ported into Windows 10 Edition! I destroyed all the previous structures as they were outdated. (They were built in 1.7 !!!) And I retrofitted the entire island with new vegetation and ultra-screen-accurate recreations of all 51 locations featured in the show, including functional redstone and command block code! Here's the list of them all:
(Green is FINISHED, Yellow is ALMOST DONE, Red is NOT STARTED)

Candidate Cave
Lighthouse
Rope Bridge
Rousseau’s Bunker
The Looking Glass Station (8, Oceanography)

I'm using java with ATLauncher. I found a really cool modpack I fell in love with on ver 1.19.2. Got it going like I really wanted, but this was only for Bedrock. I used the Chunker.app suggestion and it works great. Except no mobs will spawn. Or Croptopia items. I couldn't find the java version. Figured it wasn't ready for release yet.
I can't compliment you enough on this. Amazing!!!!!
Was hoping you can tell me how to summon the smoke from Ben's house?? I did it once and honestly can't figure out how I did!
I honestly love everything about this map. It's a work of art
