Yes. Lava is indeed, hot.

I didn't feel like trees really fit in, in the survival version though there are 5 of each sapling along with some dirt, bone meal, etc.

I'm working on another map as we speak that has custom jungle trees of many sizes and shapes. That will put this map to shame. More on that later.
