What is Larny?

Larny (Ларны) is a fictional city, somewhere on the Black Sea coast (Near Sochi). It incorporates into itself multiple "Rayons" (anglicized to "Regions").


-The map is fairly large. It is roughly 8,000 x 8,000 blocks, with most of that space planned to be filled with nature that is common around this part of the world, such as subtropical forests, hills, mountains, and, of course, the warm sea. The city won't be very big, but there will be smaller settlements spread around the map also.
-On this map you will find extravagant Stalinist sanatoriums, modern high-rises, small villages, a ski resort, and so much more, once this map is complete.
-I am the only builder on this map, and it is going to stay this way, as I do not have any friends who build in a similar style to mine, and none who are Russian. I have a very specific vision for this map.
-Any feedback on what you see will be greatly appreciated, especially on things such as the geographical features of the map. Keep in mind that the map is around 8k X 8k blocks.


-As of 08/10/2021 the world-building stage has ended, and the map entered the building stage.


-At the moment, I have no main project. You might be aware of my other project; Uzhdansk, also a fictional Russian city. I have decided to work on both of these at the same time, although I will likely put most effort into Larny, since it is a smaller map that will take less time to complete.

-You might remember that I decided to halt building on Uzhdansk, so I could work solely on Larny. However, I found that I have fewer ideas flowing through my mind when focusing on just one thing, meaning I could spend days without building anything new on Larny due to lack of ideas. I think resuming work on Uzhdansk will give me some extra inspiration, and hopefully both cities will benefit from my decision :)
