For ages, humans and dragons lived in peace in the world. As humans became more intelligent, they would spread throughout the land and destroy their planet in search of precious metals. The dragons despised the humans for destroying the lands that they lived on, and a raging war broke out. The fire from the dragon's breath made the world uninhabitable to plant life. The land was scorched red, the mountains melted, and the oceans evaporated only to be filled with molten lava.The humans hid from the dragons in the mines they had created, as the dragons destroyed all signs of civilization above them, on the over world.
Once the humans were no threat, the dragons foughtamongsteach other for the remaining land of the melted world. One dragon, by the name of Metzlen, was cast down during battle. He appeared dead, for his wing was shredded and broken. His face was gashed and left with a gaping hole where his eye had been.As the dragons moved to other locations to claim the sparse land, they continued their battle to the death. The humans returned to the over world and grieved over the loss of their cities. Because of this grief, when they discovered the still living Metzlen, they related to his pain and took pity on the dragon. Even after having their forge destroyed, the humans crafted a new eye and wing for Metzlen before he could die.
In return for their kindness, Metzlen guarded the humans as they rebuilt their city. He defended the humans from threatening dragons, most often resulting in their violent death. Only with the aide of Metzlen were the humans able to create a shining star of a city. Despite the downfall of their race and their world; Krysnth was reborn.

Steve thought to himself is this really happening to me? I am stranded out here on this God forsaken land for the rest of my life....
