I had no idea snapshot 20w14∞ existed until I watched The Neo Cubest's and Legundo's videos and I know this is SUPER late but I was so intrigued by the idea that I made a map anyway. I found both methods used in the video's a bit cumbersome, using the library/book boxes and having to handwrite a random book each time. So to fix that I made something similar to Neo Cubest if a bit more technical. In my version, you spawn in a finite area that you can edit to be a base as you gather materials. You can enter a portal to an unlimited variation of random dimensions in this area. In version 1 I used command blocks to open and close a portal as well as generate a book with random data. This version took me about 8 hours to figure out how to do, almost immediately after finishing this version I found a dramatically easier way to do the infinite portals XD. Since I was almost complete with version 1 I went ahead and made both maps which each have an option for Hardcore mode. I felt like this would be a cool new way to experience Minecraft in a very roguelike way as every run will be very different!
Directions
-In version one, you throw the lever to activate the portal, press the button to generate a random book in the chest and then throw said book into the portal to attach it to a random dimension.
-In version 2, you just throw the lever and it generates a new portal each time.
-It is 100% possible to both beat the Ender Dragon and the Wither as you are able to access the end from some of the generated dimensions and mobs are random allowing you to get wither heads.
-Some dimensions can cause incredible lag, watch for it and be prepared to escape back through the portal if you encounter it =D.
-Remember this can only be played in snapshot 20w14∞
-Any feedback is welcome, I would really like to know which version people like better!
