HMS Victory, she is well renowned and known by many even today.
Victory at 258 years old is still an active warship tho she's been in dry dock for the last 101 years to keep what's left of her original timber preserved.
Victory was ordered in 1758 (coincidentally the same year Lord Nelson was born) and her keel was laid in 1759, after 7 years of building and seasoning her timbers she was ready to be launched, The Victory slipped into the water on the 7th of May 1765 with great credit to Sir Thomas Slade who designed her, and Sir Edward Allin whom built her from keel up, both great men of their day.

As Launched Victory was a 100 gun 1st rate measuring 186 ft on the gundeck and 51 ft across the beam.
Weighing 2,162 Tons BM she took the title of largest ship in the Royal Navy until the launch of the Royal George ii in 1788

After her 31 year run as a front line service ship of the line, she had seen her day, and Victory was laid up in 1813 by now already 48 years old.
Over the next 109 years from 1813 to 1922, Victory would go in to serve in many background positioned in the Royal Navy.
