This is a concept I have been working on for almost a year now. Using vanilla mechanics, I have created guns in minecraft. Just right click to shoot. each shot deals about one sword hit of damage. Features a custom resource pack, a shooting range game, and fancy particle effects. Check back soon, I intend to make a "one command" command for this project. Have you ever wanted to shoot chickens of of fences with guns in vanilla minecraft? Now you can! This is one of my favorate projects, and I think it is a lot of fun to play. Just extract the file to your saves folder, move the included "guns" resource pack to your recource folder, and start to play! You no longer need to move the texture pack, it will load automagicaly! If you have questions or suggestions, put them in the comments. Pushing the diamond button helps too! Best wishes!

So the one command thing has kinda been pushed aside and instead I have been working on the core mechanics to get the guns to work better. Expect more world saves before you see a one command command.

btw , the things that killed the chickens was the /kill command
where is the resource pack
