Two submissions in one day? This is a functional Nether base that I have made for players of Minecraft 1.16.1 and above. This is my first entry for an official PMC contest (I've entered in some community-made contests and events before).

This base contains 14 rooms across 2 floors. The upper floor contains the portal and most equipment needed for survival Minecraft. The lower floor is mostly empty, except for the anvils and smithing tables, and a soul soil walkway to a bastion.

Every doorway in the base has a regular torch on one side and a soul torch on another. The positions of these torches are not random: regular torches lead away from the portal and respawn anchor room, and soul torches lead toward the portal and respawn anchor room. And every room is lit up by either a regular lantern or a soul lantern; no neighboring rooms are lit up by the same type of lantern.

I would have put up some farms just outside the base, but for some reason there are no food crops in the Nether, so I can't make the base fully sustainable at the moment (I could put a hoglin farm, but I don't want ghasts to destroy it, so I didn't).
