Thanks for checking out my minecolonies style. I hope you love building it as much as we enjoyed designing it. This was a joint project with Dark_Cold.

The style pack requires version 19.2 or higher and the mods Supplementaries, MrCrayfish's Furniture mod, Minecolonies and all it's dependencies
Our goal was 1) to look cool and 2) to resolve any of our own Pet-peeves, I watch the minecolonies discord suggestion channel and take mental notes of what it looks like people want -- if I also like it.

It may be kind of expensive to build, it's our first style and you can get a little crazy in creative mode.
We are super excited about
  •   The barn contains all your animal handlers, it has so far been escape-proof in our survival testing
  •   Our cactus fields haven't killed anyone
  •   Our university has The immersive Netherology lab and the Enderology lab. We hope you love it, it was very fun to design.
  •   Our University has a security guard, a cafeteria, a builder teaching architecture and building maintenance, a medical school that offers services to the students and staff, an early childhood education department, and dorms. There is enough housing for the cook, asst cook, doctor, builder, teacher, security guard, all 5 researchers and up to 10 students or pupils. If you dislike nested buildings, don't build them. By level 5 the building looks good either way.
  •   You wanted two builders working on the same building -- we came close! The university's staff builder appears to "help" the builder building the university.
  •   Our barracks have an optional decoration that causes it to play the imperial march when your troops leave or enter
  •   The warehouse contains office space for the couriers, no need for courier huts, and at level 5 you get a trash can.
  •   The town hall has a player base with enough placeholders and signs so your stuff doesn't get moved on upgrade
  •   Does not require cyclic but we made sure if you want item transfer nodes, to transfer items to the warehouse, that it will not be disturbed, level five town hall has lots of extra space for cyclic machines (or a rage cage, or anything else you want)
  •   Doesn't require cooking for blockheads but we made sure if you modify the kitchen into a CFB kitchen, it will stay like that.
  •   Town hall player base also gets a trash can level 5 and space for item transfer nodes to first three warehouses
  •   Fire breathing dragons (thank you to megrae on youtube for the super-easy-to-follow tutorials that inspired some of our cool designs, including the dragon and stone mason hut.)
  •   Working lava farm in the smeltery
  •   Working mushroom farm decoration (fits in the farm, or you can swap the rack for a post box if you want auto-collection of the mushrooms.
  •   The tavern serves food (won't level past 3 but it'll do early on)
  •   Farm contains all 5 fields to minimize risk for your farmer getting killed by mobs
  •   Roads upgraded to 2 matches the higher level buildings. Optional level 3 adds jack-o-lanterns. Level four adds Christmas decor, and level 5 goes back to colony banners. This applies to all rails, bridges etc.
  •   Simple Quarry has an HR department where you can hire the quarrier, no need for a whole new mine just for that. This IS a mine with a mine hut block but does NOT have a mineshaft, so don't try using it as a mine, it is a mine with a nested simple quarry. It is in the mineshaft folder, do not confuse that with the mine under fundamentals. you can build more simple quarries by themselves. The medium quarry may someday get it's own mine but as of now start with the simple quarry, you need a lot of diorite and early on you don't quite have space for a medium quarry anyway. My quarrier with INT2 excavated that out pretty quick, so there will be quarry-cover decorations added later.
  •   There is a builder guide in the supply camp or ship. If you want the flying Pegasus over your town hall you must start with the supply camp, not the ship. Both have a building guide.

Update #8 : by anastasia590 11/05/2023 8:06:07 pmNov 5th, 2023

This style has been converted to all vanilla and I will continue to keep the vanilla version updated. If you have problems with this version I will still fix them but new decorations to be added will be vanilla to allow this style to be visible in the build tool on more modpacks.

I am also using this on ATM9 and there's no sign of the fire-breathing dragon or the mystic site.

Thank you!

I'm using this building style on ATM9 and up to now it was great but when i try to build the warehouse inside the town hall, it shows it as a separate building not fitting in the town hall. If i let it be built like that it'll build a completely different looking building to the town hall and won't fit in it's space. Am i doing something wrong? Is it intended to be that way?
