One question: Will we ever get a 1.16 or up version?
this is looking great! other than a few generation issues (like chunks of ocean generating higher than surrounding land) everything is looking very smooth

Those aren't generation issues, chunks of ocean generating higher than surrounding land happens when you go off the map, when you go off the map vanilla generation happens. Because the sea level is 37 because of the way heightmaps scale to minecraft, when you go off the map vanilla sea levels generate, vanilla generation sea level is 63.
Is there a flower forest? A swamp? What happens at the world border? And where is the end portal in the overworld? Just curious.
Swaps are in the Netherlands and Louisiana, also around some of the rivers.
Vanilla terrain starts generating at the world border.
Unfortunately, there is no end portal in the overworld, not the most survival friendly.
Did u use a heightmap and adjust it or all of it manually?
