DEAD BY MINECRAFT

We have updated to 1.13 and are testing atm. We will wait until 1.14 is here and will update and release shortly after that.
Sadly, we currently don't have the time to update the map. We will resume, when we have more time. :)

No mods or resource packs are required to play this map.
The map does not work on Bukkit or Spigot servers. Use vanilla!



Dead by Minecraft is a Minecraft vanilla map where you can play Dead by Daylight in Minecraft with your friends (3 - 5 Players are recommended).

It features random generated map each time you play. Generators and traps are located at different places and chests spawn randomly all over the map.

The weather and the amount of generators which have to be repaired can be set in the lobby.

TEAMS

The game features 3 teams: survivor, killer and spectator.

SURVIVOR

The survivors goal is to "repair" the generators. This can be done by breaking the obsidian with your pickaxe. A faster pickaxe can be found in chests, which spawn randomly on the map. When a generator is repaired, it lights up, makes sounds and everyone can see its position for a few seconds. You can see how many generators still need to be repaired at the bottom of the screen.

You have 3 lives. You lose one life when the killer hits you. But as soon as he hurts you - run! You get a speed boost and the killer can't see for a while. Hide or you'll get killed! You can restore a life by drinking a health potion if you find one in a chest.

As soon as all necessary generators are repaired, you can open the big exits by breaking the obsidian on the left, behind the iron trapdoor. When it opens run inside to escape.

KILLER

The killers task is simple. Hunt down survivors and kill them. You have some randomly selected potions which can help you. Use them wisely! You can destroy chests by right clicking them. You have a chance of getting a random potion.
Kill all survivors and win the game.

SPECTATOR

As a spectator, you can spectate the current game in gamemode 3. But shh! No ghosting!

RULES

[1] Play fair! You're playing with your friends, remember?
[2] Don't use bugs or glitches to get out of the map, or an unfair advantage over other players.
[3] Set your render distance to 2 chunks (as tiny as possible) and the brightness to moody.
[4] Don't take off your armor! It helps you to hide.

The use of shaders is not recommended. As well, everybody should use the same resource pack and graphic settings.
We recommend playing together in a voice chat like Teamspeak or Discord.
