Geschichte der Pilnitz
- Ein stetiger Aufschwung und ein Konkurrierender wechsel ging in der
Schifffahrt zu beginn des 20 Jh. umher. - November 1902 Kiellegung der Pilnitz kurze Zeit nach ihrer Schwester
- Jungfernfahrt ende März 1903
- Sie Transportierte herkömmliche Fracht und kann auch einige Durchreisende
mitnehmen für die sie auch 3 Kajüten anbietet - Neuer Bezugshafen 1905
- Ebenso wie die Feritz nahm auch die Pilnitz und später die Müritz einen
neuen Bezugshafen zwischen Kanada und Deutschland ein. - Die Pilnitz stieß bei einer Nächtlichen Fahrt mit starkem Nebel mit einem Klipper zusammen.
- Durch das fehlen eines Krähnnestes fiel die Sicht trotz kurzem Bug in dieser Situation fatal
aus und es kam zur Kollision. Daraufhin wurde der fehlende Ausguck später hinzugefügt. - Verbleib: Aktuell im Dienst
