I am pleased to share with you, the Carnival Splendor! She is 492 blocks long, 75 blocks wide, and almost 120 blocks tall! She contains close to 1.2 million blocks! So how long did this take? I was active 6 months over the course of 8 1/2 months. Over 600 hours were spent so if you do the math, I worked 70% of the timeframe with an average of about 2 hours a day. My intention was to make a life sized version of this ship, inside and out. Some areas may be a little stretched out or compressed due to the nature of Minecraft, but for the most part, the size is spot on. It would be pretty hard to include it all perfectly with the limits of Minecraft. If you have been on this ship, or a similar ship, I'm certain you will feel the accuracy! A lot of detail work went into this project. To start off, each deck has it's own floor and ceiling.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Optifine is highly recommended along with a decent computer. A beefy computer is a plus. I have this on my own server as well. If you wish to arrange a guided tour, please PM me on here and I will do my best to pick a time that works for us. My schedule runs off US Eastern Time.

One year after starting this project, I am proud to say that a download is now available! It took about another month to fully inspect the ship and make any fixes, along with reprogramming the elevators to function. Minor bug: Please note that there are thousands of signs in this ship. A couple of times in full render I have noticed some signs missing text within a chunk or two. This has never happened under normal render settings but if you do view under extreme in optifine for example, you may notice them, or you may not. It is a harmless bug which if you reload the map, the signs will restore the text. I guess there is some sort of limit when generating a certain number of chunks although I cannot confirm that is the cause. Just saying it only has happened in single player. Please report any other bugs/glitches you find and I will look at it as soon as I can.
