This map is from a Survival server I played on during my first year as a medical student. I'm currently in my third year, so this was 2 years ago. There were four people on the server, including myself, and they all had very little Minecraft experience. I told them I would take care of all the building and they could focus on the adventure stuff, since I'd already done it all before and it wasn't as interesting to me anymore. You might see some structures on the map that they built, mostly exp farms, villager trading houses, and small structures they tried to make, but most of it is made by me.
Who am I, you ask? I'm Frenzy Light, a Super Smash Bros. YouTuber with almost 40K subscribers on YouTube. I'm also a third year medical student, but most importantly, I'm the little brother of "Xoyjaz," the legendary city builder known for Project Zearth - the oldest city map in Minecraft. During the making of this server, my friends were extremely impressed with my building skills, but to be honest, it's nothing compared to what my brother makes, so I never felt like publishing it. However, looking back on it now, two years later, I'm extremely proud of what I managed to create, so I figured I should share it with you all. My brother has always inspired me with everything he does, one of the many things being minecraft building. I might not have his exact building style, but I have taken inspiration from a lot of his work and implemented it into my own.
The map is on version 1.17.1 of Minecraft. You'll find that some parts of it are made in creative, including some command blocks for mini-games I made for my friends, as well as a memorial for one of our friend's dog who passed away during our time on the server. However, the rest of the server is 100% survival. I highly recommend checking it out, as there are tons of easter eggs to discover. The main attraction of the map is the gigantic house, but you'll also find a castle, church, mosque, floating islands, a village with a working court (trust me, when one of my friends stole diamonds from the others, they went at it in court!), and lots more.
I hope you find this map amusing and relaxing to check out. I'd like to challenge you all to try and find the Call of Duty: Warzone Gulag, which I've hidden somewhere in the village.
Good to know:
- The map was played in Norwegian, so there are some norwegian signs there, but some signs are also in English
- The map is 270mb+, make sure you have room for it! I had to upload it as an alternative download, because PMC only allows 15.0mb
- I did not enslave the villagers inside the mountain. I can assure you that I had nothing to do with that.
P.S. Hopefully, you'll spawn on the ground floor of the gigantic house, but if not, the intended spawn coordinates are: "XYZ: 73, 65, 619."
