The Aurora class is designed as a scout ship and a planetary defense ship.
Due to its high maneuverability and small size it can be hard to aim at the Aurora.
In combination with its firepower it is even a match for larger cruisers and patrol-
ships.
The maximum cruise speed is Warp 7.2

The Aurora class hosts a standard crew of 20,and can carry up to 50 people.
On the ventral side of the ship are four landing legs.
Below the aft is a small shuttlebay with one type 22 short range shuttle.
