How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

A village built in a superflat world. The mountains were made using Voxelsniper. Texture pack is Sphax.

The world download is a bukkit server file so to to start this world you need to:
1. Unzip the contents in the .zip file
2. Start the file called "Bukkit server"
3. Connect to your server via multiplayer and IP = localhost

World edit is included for faster travel. Use the compass for teleporting around.

Aww!! Im so saddd!!! When I put it in my saves folder it doesnt do anything! It doesnt show up! Do you know what is wrong???

Sorry if this comment is too late, but this might fix your problem-

download the map, and go to your saves. Double click aspenwood.
There will be a few folders at the top, and lots of other things. Delete everything you see except the folder called 'world'.
Open 'world', and copy everything inside it.
Go back so that you are in the aspenwood folder (the only thing that should be there is the 'world folder'). Now delete the world folder, and paste all of the things that were inside it. This map should now show up on your game.

Hi, I'm playing another sandbox game called minetest. I came across your amazing village an I'm trying to recreate it from screen shots that you have here and some other that i found on the net. Would you happen to have a top view plan maybe on a grid of the canals layout, that would help me a lot. Thank you in advance and continue your superb work.

There is this hole that goes down like 50 blocks at -151 60 -122 that leads to a EPIC underground cave. Try it!

the bukkit server thing keeps saying the system cannot find a path specified.What am i doing?!

Open up the file called "Bukkit Server.bat" and make sure that this line is correct:

"%ProgramFiles%Javajre6binjava.exe" -Xincgc -Xmx1G -jar craftbukkit-1.6.2-R1.0.jar

jre6 needs to match your version of java and craftbukkit needs to match your craftbukkit file in the folder.

I seen that you made it on...you have to type /register [pw] pick whatever password you like then type /login [pw] and enter the password you chose.
