The Mark Two Archimedes is the first major overhaul of the Archimedes Class Light Mech. While many companies still prefer to use the Mark One because of its heavier armor and slightly more customizable weapons systems, the Mark Two's smaller frame and leg design, allows for an additional twelve mechs to be transported in each standard crate (a 33% increase)! This makes the Mark Two the preferred choice among most mobile army companies.

I've also been working on some APCs and lights tanks, which is something I know you're very familiar with!
About the crates - yeah I know, I haven't really explained things too much yet, but the Terran Trade Confederation (TTC), which all my posts have been a part of so far, uses a standard 25mX25mX25m shipping crate to allow for easy loading and unloading of cargo from their freighters. So everything that is being shipped from one planet to another, has to fit within and Standard Crate (25X25X25) or the larger Double Crate (50X25X25).
The only other place I've come close to mentioning this is on the "Military Fast Freighter Varient" of my Defender Class Support Frigate (third photo).
One of these days, I'll finish a freighter-pack project with a few different freighter types/classes in it and explain the shipping crates in detail...
