The Colonial Guardian Class Light Cruiser
While a few ships of this class have been outfitted with flight pods, the primarily role of the Guardian is as a medium escort to larger capital ships. Equiped with 6 light railgun turrets, two medium railgun turrets, and a single 120 meter fixed forward-firing railgun, the Guardian is designed to outmanuever heavier capital ships and sting thier flanks with its main weapon.

Refit:
Switched the 8 medium cannon turrets with 2 medium railgun turrets and 6 light railgun turrets.
Added a powerful sensor suite to the bow of the ship.

As for CC, I've looked for a description of what it is, and it seems like it would require me to start making interiors for my stuff (also redstone) which I just don't have the patience for... But maybe I'm missing somthing, if I could just participate on a roleplaying level, then I think I'm close to having a respectable fleet for something like that.
PS. You should subscribe, I've committed to posting something every week until I've exhausted everything that I've already built (something like 15-20 projects)!
