THE PROJECT

This is an extremely large passion project (Current Size: 4000 x 4132 x 383) I've worked on for a long time (Since around December 2022) and may eventually become available for download. In the meantime, I'll use this page to showcase some of the pictures I take of the project! I hope you all enjoy this creation and continue to follow me as I work hard to create this project!

Background

This project originally started as just a small idea that I had for a unique sort of waterfall that would flow in small streams into pools of increasing size until flowing into a lake. This idea is now the location on the map called 'Wellspring Waterfall.' Following working on this, I wanted to add mountains into the background to add caves for the water to flow out of. Around this time, someone very close to me passed away, and I added the island to the lake with the tombstone and cherry tree to remember that person. After this, Minecraft became my therapy, and I wanted to grow the project further. I spent hours upon hours adding on terrain, first creating the White Citadel and the Mountain Temple behind it. Then it grew to include a harbor, rolling hills, and an Elvish city. At this point, I realized that this project wasn't just for therapy anymore. This was my first real attempt at making something big and epic in Minecraft. A feat I'd never done before. So I made a list of ideas and added them to the map individually. Soon the map got so big and such a large project that some friends recommended I start a page here, and that's how the map has arrived at where it is today!

Lore:

This island is not on the physical plane of existence but rather in a land in between realms. Here, the first of ten deities descended onto the faceless world and spoke the words of creation. His name was Arcania, the god of creation, and he forged the world with his own power. He created this island first then a new island in the physical realm that acted as a front for where the real place of creation was.
