This project is a rebuild of the world wonder from the Turks’ people in Microsoft’s Game Age of Empires in yellow team colour. In the real world it is the “Selimiye Mosque” in Edrine (fromer Adrianopolis) in east Thracian, Turkey. It is one of this biggest and notables mosques in Europe today.

This building was planned for the RP world a long time ago (about 2 years) and should be added in the last Version 1.2, but instead of the North-Desert of Egypt the East has been build first so that the northern lands including the City of Pharos including this building will be published with the 1.3. Some of Pharos’s monumental buildings are already finished and are also based on the AoE II Wonders and will be published as a preview soon. These are the Wonders of the Byzantine and the Saracen. Of course there will also be a lighthouse, but there is not even a blue print jet.

I am big fan of Age of Empires and always tried to build some of buildings in Minecraft but everything I have tried ago was not good enough to be shown. But by time by "Minecraft-Skills" have become better and so I finally tried to build some of the AoE II World Wonders.



There was a lot of work in this thing. It is the first mosque I have ever built – and was never inside a mosque jet. Building this was very hard because of the domes and different levels, so I did it in many steps beginning with a self-made blueprint. I took a picture of each step, so you can see how this here was created.

Dieses Projekt ist ein Nachbau des Weltwunders der Türken aus dem Spiel Age of Empires von Microsoft in der Teamfarbe Gelb. Dieses stellte die „Selimiye-Moschee“ dar. Diese ist eine der größten und bedeutendsten Moscheen Europas und befindet sich in der türkischen Stadt Edrine, welche früher Adrianopel hieß und in Ostthrakien liegt, was der auf Europa liegende Teil der heutigen Türkei ist.


Dieses Gebäude ist schon vor einiger Zeit (fast 2 Jahre) geplant und soll in die RP-Welt in der Stadt Pharos eingefügt werden. Die gesamte Nordwüste Ägypten, von welcher Pharos die regional Hauptstadt ist, wurde jedoch, von ein paar Monumenten mal abgesehen, noch nicht mal terraformt. Stattdessen wurde gut die Hälfte der Westwüste erstellt und mit der Version 1.2 vor einigen Monaten veröffentlicht, sodass die Nordwüste zusammen mit Pharos erst mit der 1.3 eingeführt werden. Die Teile der Nordwüste, welche schon fertig sind und auch zu meiner AoE Wunderreihe gehören werden aber als Preview schon veröffentlicht. Dazu gehören die Weltwunder der Byzantiner, der Sarazenen und der Byzantiner.



Ich bin ein großer Fan der Age of Empires Serie und hatte immer wieder versucht, einige der AoE Gebäude in Minecraft nachzubauen, doch war (fast) nichts davon vorzeigbar. Doch wurde ich mit den Jahren erfahrener und versuchte mich nach einigen Bauwerken auch mit AoE Weltwundern.

In diesem Ding steckt viel Arbeit. Dies ist die erste Moschee, welche ich überhaupt gebaut habe; und dabei war ich selbst noch nie in einer. Der Bau des Gebäudes war eine große Aufgabe, besonders auf Grund der Kuppeln und der verschiedenen Höhenlevel. Daher wurde der Bau mit Hilfe einer selbstgemachten Blaupause stückweise auf gebaut. Dabei hatte ich Fotos von den Zwischenschritten gemacht und hier hochgeladen, damit man den Bau an sich sehen kann.
