Introducing the continent of Apora!

About:

Apora is 1 of 6 Different maps that will be 100% released in the next 1-2 years. Apora's terrain is based off a flatter terrain more suitable for building and survival easy/normal mode. Caves are little to none, but they exist. There are 2 main places to get Lava in the world besides the very few lava pockets that are underground. The savanna area is based off a true valley in Africa as well as a plateau that is based off somewhere close to home. The Desert is based off a true desert in the world too. As for the other biomes, they are based off an unrealistic visual of how pretty the earth could be but are in some places that are rarely seen in the real world, much like the tall forest trees, as seen here and here. I wish to give a magical, yet realistic experience that will slowly be improved as each map is released, updated and explored. So please, feel free to comment any changes, opinions, improvements and updates you think I should make below.
I have not even loaded into the copy of the world that is in the downloads, just to be sure that you can load into it and get your 1.19 deep dark biome caves. As for how some parts of the world may look, don't hesitate to ask me to correct it, via my discord or the comments. I am more than happy to fix any chunk errors or world corruptions. Just reach out so I can fix it, and this includes even for servers that decide to use this map. Also, if you do use my map, feel free to reach out to me so I can see how it turns out for your community.

World Features:
Nether Blocks in the overworld! We all have that one builder friend who is absolutely scared of all things nether, so I added a way for the builders to gather two of the most important resources in the nether for building. Ancient Debris at a 1% and quartz ore at a 3%! This is also great for RP servers who like to close the nether for a more realistic playthrough!
Animal and mob generations are the same! But here is the catch, if you load the world into 1.19, the great dark biome will generate, along with that, comes frogs. The only downside as of right now is that the 1.19 Mud, and mangrove wood is not on the map, but will be added in a later update of the world. Another downside is, you will need to use an oak sapling to get yourself a bee nest, because when I did my oak trees, I failed to add them, but once again, I will add them in future updates.

Then comes the biomes- I have painted 14 different biomes to explore, but they all look naturally blended. You can tell when a biome is changing when you see different shaded grass, different trees, plants and terrain. Pretty easy to determine. But my favorite one of all the ones that I did on the map is the Snowy Plains, only because they have vast spruce trees that have experienced the cold weather and I love cold weather.
The caves- oh how miners love the caves, I have 5 mountain caverns and each one is a mushroom biome inside. As for anything below -15, those are free 1.18 or 1.19 cave generation, so beware the deep dark. Volcanos are only found 2 places on the map, the desert and the far north where there is nothing but cold.
Very sad to say this, but you are going to want a flint and steel when it comes to the super tall trees. OR, you can get this tree chopping plugin (for your server) that you can set up to chop the trees in just one click after configuration. Each tree is unique in all the different biomes. So if you come across a tree in the wrong place, oh how lucky you are.

Installing the World:

Installing the world is super easy, follow the step for servers and single players below:
Singleplayer:
Step 1: Download the world
Step 2: Unzip the world -

• To unzip the entire folder, right-click to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
• To unzip a single file or folder, double-click the zipped folder to open it. Then, drag or copy the item from the zipped folder to a new location.

Step 3: Go to your windows home screen and press the windows key + R
Step 4: Type in %AppData% and press enter
Step 5: Go to your .minecraft folder and press saves, then drag and drop the world folder into the saves folder.

Multiplayer:
Step 1: Download the world
Step 2: Unzip the world -

• To unzip the entire folder, right-click to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
• To unzip a single file or folder, double-click the zipped folder to open it. Then, drag or copy the item from the zipped folder to a new location.

Step 3: Turn off your server and open the consoles file container.
Step 4: If you have a world in there already, delete the world folder, if not, skip this step.
Step 5: Rename the world download folder to 'world'
Step 6: Upload the folder to the server and then start your server.

About the Project:

10k x 10k world - 1.18.* + 1.19 (Only is suitable on 1.18 + 1.19 versions)

• I am making this because I do not see nearly enough custom maps. The ones that were free and available to use are no longer available to use or are no longer free.
• When this map releases, I will be allowing anyone and everyone to use it in their servers, single player worlds and builds, free of charge.
• I will not ever put my world up for buy or charge, it will always be free. (Unless it is a paid commission)
  
• I know my maps may not be as good as others, but I am working to improve each map I post with custom trees, better caves and updated layers, I do not wish to do it any other way than to help the PM community have a map that will never change in terms of how it is downloaded.
