ing myself that block.You seem to know quite a few tips and tricks about commands, and I commend you. But there's a few things that could be fixed about the candle system, and here's something you might not have known:
The NBT strings in
CanPlaceOn
andCanDestroy
accept all block states and a limited set of NBT values, through the bracket notation you're familiar with. This means that you can do stuff like:give @s flint_and_steel{CanPlaceOn:["minecraft:red_candle[lit=false]"]}
…which will prevent you from clicking an already lit candle, setting the candle table on fire, and burning the wool allowing you to see outside (which I should mention, you did not disable the game ruledoFireTick
, which is usually a must to avoid these types of mishaps).Overall this was a very good map with interesting puzzles. I found myself searching for blackstone button #1, which in hindsight probably was the easiest one to find. I was hoping to see a second floor rather than a basement but oh well, this is already great in itself. I would like to know where that pesky lime terracotta block was hiding though.
P. S. You can softlock yourself in the blackstone pressure plate locked room, might wanna implement a safeguard against trapping yourself.
