Technological Improvements
is a mod centered around automation of vanilla Minecraft recourses.
There are many different machines inside the mod, each with their own tutorial in The Guide To Technological Improvements, a craftable book which explains all you need to know about this mod and it's various machinery, so I won't go into extreme detail upon how they all work here.

Here's a brief overview of all the machines:

The Material Generation Unit will make different types of stone-like materials on the block above it when given a redstone pulse and depending on the given material chip. It has a chance to malfunction, producing a almost worthless block called a material malfunction instead of the desired block which can be prevented by placing a malfunction stabilizer under it.

The Mineral Generation Unit works much like the material generation unit, except it can use mineral generation chips, which allows it to produce various ores. Like the material generation unit, it can malfunction, but instead of making a material malfunction it will make cobblestone and the malfunction is not stopped by a malfunction stabilizer.

The Electrification Unit allows you to turn specific items into other items that would normally be hard to automate at the cost of basic material chips and a redstone pulse.
All the recipes for this unit are in The Guide To Technological Improvements.

The Laser Defence Unit shoots high damaging projectiles under it, which heavily slow and weaken whatever it hits.

The Inferno Containment Unit can trap the powers of a blaze rod and a fire charge into a obsidian block, when said obsidian block is placed on top of it. This makes a fuel 5 times as powerful as a lava bucket!

The Amethyst Conversion Unit can turn amethyst shards into lots of experience when given a redstone signal, but has one flaw: Items cannot be inputted without the aid of a hopper or pipe.

There's plenty to play around with, and the recipes for all of it can be found in the recipe book if you're feeling lost on how to craft the components this mod adds.

It works well by itself, but plays better with a mod like Cyclic or Create.
Either way, you'll have a good time. If you find any bugs or have any suggestions, post them down in the comments and I'll do my best to fix/add them.

Also, please bear in mind that this is the first mod I've ever made. It's far from perfect, yet I think that it's still pretty cool.

Have fun automating!
