Why are there just Golden APPLES? What if I WANT to make a Golden MELON? Well, you can!
More Golden Foods adds the ability to make a golden version of almost every food in Minecraft. Like the Golden Apple, these added foods give you a temporary regeneration effect, and they have purple names and glow in your inventory. Information on the mod is below.
INSTALLATION
Read the ReadMe.txt in the downloaded zip file.
CRAFTING
All edible foods can become Golden except for poisonous foods and desserts.
To craft Golden Foods:

X is a Golden Nugget, and A is the food you would like to make golden. This is the same recipe that you use to make a Golden Apple.

golden cake would be a little more helpful because its hard to get it. every slice of cake would give 3food and 5seconds regeneration
