Java version:

Changes the recipe and texture of powered rails to Copper. The idea comes from a comment on an Ibxtoycat video

Copper should go into powered rails, not gold. It's really obvious gold was just a stand-in for copper anyways. "Power" is carried by copper way more often than gold, and it just makes people less willing to use rails.

That was his comment. I thought I could do it, so here it is.

Can you make a version using a classic styled texture?

where do i find the copper palette for classic textures? because while that sounds tempting there are any number of packs which all have their own idea of what copper would have looked like.

How do I apply them? it's only folders without the addon file. I'm new to this.

This is the bedrock version which is the .mcaddon. I used the link and it works. If your device recognizes .mcaddons then you only have to open the .mcaddon and Minecraft Bedrock does everything for you. If your device does not recognize them, simply open the archive file (the .mcaddon) as a zip file. You may have to change the file extension. Then, find your Minecraft bedrock edition installation and find the resource packs and behavior packs folders. Once there, just put the BP in Behavior packs, and RP in Resource packs. Behavior and Resource packs will run as .zip and do not need to be unzipped. They will also run just fine unzipped if you want to be able to view the packs or edit them.

If this is too confusing, look up a tutorial for your device. I hope this helps.

This one is definitely for Bedrock. The Java version is a datapack. Technically this one is too, but datapacks on Bedrock are called behavior packs or addons.

Cool!
Copper honestly should have more uses, I think it was hyped up a little to much

I don't get why copper doesn't have more recipes by default. That's why I made Copper buckets. I may make more copper tools eventually, but I am more focusing on Minetest for now.

yes, I found minetest to be a bit empty, and servers to be quite unoptimized. but thats just me
Also, copper buckets? what do they do?
