Hypothetically I feel like I should be more confident online cause people don’t know who I am and I don’t need to be scared to talk to people, but really I, just as scared to interact with people online as much as I’m scared to talk to people irl

That's understandable. I was the same way when I first joined PMC (talking to people irl is still hard & the feeling is still present on other online platforms), but I started meeting people in PMC Chat shortly after I joined, and that helped a lot. It led me to feeling more comfortable with talking in/to others in the community (outside of chat), and to the friends I have now.

It's definitely okay to feel that way, and you don't have to talk to anyone, if you don't want to do so. Your feelings are valid, and it's great that you're able to share this with us. :)

It's okay to be scared. You don't have to talk to anyone unless you want to! I also hate talking to people irl but unfortunately life is hard.

Don’t ask how, but I forgot how skindex works and deleted someone comment whose comment I didn’t mean to delete an now I feel bad cause I’m scared it’ll come off as if I’m ignoring them or smth and ik I could just comment on their profile to reply but that just seems weird to me I can’t-
