your skins are really well done and creative, but i would try to study anatomy a little to make your shading style more realistic? the human body doesn't tend to have a large number of bends and waves in the legs, and coats don't usually have bubbles. if you'd like to keep shading this way please do, don't let me stop you! they look great, just not very anatomically accurate

When I was tiny I had a dream where me and my family/friends were in a white room strapped to tables, and this was totally normal. We were all fine with it. Eventually these people with white labcoats came in, but they didn't have faces-- still felt totally normal in the dream. They took my youngest brother and made him stretch himself and bend in ways that humans can't until all his bones were broken and sticking out at odd angles, and they shut him in a briefcase and walked away with his blood leaking out the side. Next they took my other brother and sat him infront of a computer with earbuds in, and it took me a moment to realize that they weren't headphones. It was a metal spike going through his head. After a few seconds of him staring, lifeless, into the computer screen he was sucked into it and something like the 'punishment' screen from danganronpa: the animation played out. I think the bit that scared me the most in this dream was the way that everything felt so natural. Like I was used to it, and it didn't even bother me. I watched all my family and friends get killed in similar ways until me and my mother were the only ones left-- at this point a few nurses walked in, carrying a bunch of broken dolls and one life-size doll of a crying child. I turned back and realized that the nurses had tranformed my mum into one of these dolls. "Now, now, Rebecca. Try not to break this one too much." said the nurse, smiling. At this point the life-size doll stopped crying and her face twisted into an evil grin as she picked up the newest doll and smashed her head against the floor.

I swear I was only, like, five when I dreamed this! It scared me so flipping much at the time I literally woke up screaming. I remember that towards the end it felt like I was awake, but I couldn't open my eyes. It terrified me at the time, and I have no idea how the heck something so graphic could have even come into my mind at the age of five! I mean, I only started reading horror stories etc. recently, and I haven't had a nightmare in forever... Meh. I had to listen to drop pop candy and tsukema tsukeru on repeat while writing this, since it still terrifies me! It might not seem that bad written down, but remembering it... Woo I'm so clever that I forgot to save it and had to start over yayy
I'm soso glad that I had this image up though, I've used the palettes and made it look like it did before ;v;
Any ideas for the face or right leg would be really helpful, as I tried the beef stir-fry idea and it failed. The sashimi thing worked, though I'm going to have to make that again. Thanks!

Ooh! These two aren't romance/comedy, but they're really good too! Puella Magi Madoka Magica is great, and Mekakucity Actors is really clever

Oh! If you like ouran I can recommend a few other romance/comedies? Toradora! is really good, and gekkan shoujo nozaki-kun is also funny, though short.

I went from being a whiny kid thing who pretended to be kawaii and thought that her work was better than everyone else's because she got one comment about 'omg ur mi fav skinr' to a rather less whiny geek thing who frets for hours before posting something in case it's terrible.

I can't decide if I changed for the better or the worse ^^;

If you aren't very experienced with skinning MCSkin3D can be a little tricky, but when you realize how to use it it's just amazing. It doesn't have gradient tools etc. but it is SO much easier to pick out colours and place pixels on, since it has a 2D view, 3D view and an option to see both at once.

If you're brand new to skinning I can link you a few colour/shading tutorials if you'd like?

To be honest, this can't be helped. With my skins they either get tons of diamonds and next to no downloads or tons of downloads and about half that number of diamonds. If someone comes on pmc without an account then they can't diamond things, but they can download, so if someone comes on looking for a map but they aren't signed in they'll probably download the map and may bother making an account just to diamond it but that's unlikely ^^;

I think apocalyptica are pretty cool, they're a cello quartet who do covers of metallica songs cx
I'm also a sucker for most vocaloid/utau songs.
