I'm still in the making of my armor skins, but the tools are done though...
    Have a look here.
The last image shows the armor icons, based on models I made recently, skins will be added as soon as possible.

The problem is that the OP on MCF hasn't updated that thread for a really long time...
And I believe that you learn best by having example packs, I can recommend Conquest for having excellent ctm's, Soartex or (obviously) my own pack (which hasn't all the extremely perfect-made ctm), but it's worth a shot anyways...
    Let's hope that it helped.

I believe if they take care of the 320khz audio files when converting to .ogg, it should work... I don't have a mac, but it should work (I never had bug reports at my resource pack thread)

I assume this: post2372804.html#p2372804 should help you...
it should work for both mac and windows, at least I never had complaints in my resource pack thread.

I'm more a fan of the Do-it-yourself principle, so instead of making you such a pack, I'll instruct you how to do it, and since I posted such a thing on another thread already, I'll simply redirect you to it.

Sound packs are all good and fine, but make sure that you include the permissions for you to use it, otherwise it's stolen content.
And I doubt that sounds from other games (no matter if Zelda or Skyrim) are free to use, you ALWAYS need to include a license.

You can pick up to 12 songs

Kai912Hello, I was wondering if anyone here would like a resource pack with custom music. If you do, just tell me what music you want, and I will put it in, and PM you the link.

Let's give you a little bit demanding (but pretty useful) tweak:
If you want to replace them completely, then you'll need to rename the music discs in game (I assume that you want to do it right)

A friend of me (TheBoo) came up with a little tweak that modifies the yk.class, the decompiled source can be found here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/hhb4z376ylc0h ... piled.java
The lines 85 - 108 are interesting, these are the custom record titles (adapted to my pack)
I don't consider THIS as a mod, it's more of a tweak (you only need to change these lines and send it to somebody to recompile it)
Let's hope that it helps you!

Since you use 1.6, you need to do some things (I'm not sure how deep you want to get stuck in the code):
    (1) Get the songs you want
    (2) Convert them to .ogg files and rename then SIMILAR to the original minecraft discs
    (3) Place them in your resource pack (/assets/minecraft/records/)
I recommend to place both (mp3 & ogg) in the folder, like this:
    Click to reveal

If you want to do it really good, then you'll need a little tweak in the minecraft code (to replace the names of the discs in game:

I included PE texture pack installation instructions in my pack thread:
    http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_ ... inal-pack/

(Adapted from Sphax' PE instructions, they should work)

According to Sphax, it should still work... I used his PE installation instructions on my pack and it should work...

the following instruction is copied from my pack thread.

Don't call it an "official" group without a mod's approval.
Please remove the "official" tag from the entire post.

    Thank you

Could you do one of my project Axebow Estate?

It's a modern styled megabuild, the texturepack for it would be this...

I could need one from the real side (like a overview from the side) to see the shapes used...
And maybe another one from the (real high) top, but with a bit of an angle (maybe a bit to the east of the peak)

The size... depends on the time you have and on your PC specs
But I'd like to have HD renders (16:9, maybe 1920x1080; like all of my exterior renderings are)

    Kind regards

    But some are definitely helpful
    - LuisGoldacre

yes - i do agree with you, Luis, also to the first part that only a few of those many tutorials are helpful...

It should be in the forums
    - 1UPMiner

have you ever compared the formatting possibilites of Forum posts & blogs?
If yes, you wouldn't wonder why most tutorials are written in the blog section...
